Unlike adult's feet, children's feet have bones that are still very soft and more easily affected by pressure or forces. The growth and development of children’s feet is important to us as most of the issues we see in adults stem from issues as children.
The sooner a child is assessed and diagnosed the easier it is to treat and manage the issue. So if as a parent you have any concerns about their posture, walking or stability, then click here to book an appointment with us now.
Following a thorough consultation, we can assess, diagnose and treat problems like flat feet, abnormal foot positions and heel pain.
All Podiatry Services has been actively involved with many sporting clubs across a range of sports providing podiatry care and footwear advice.
A range of treatments are used in preventing and treating sports injuries including gait analysis, reconditioning programs (strengthening, stretching, balance exercises), shoe assessment and orthotic therapy to optimise recovery and prevent re-injury. This can include acute and chronic injuries.
Regular assessment by a Podiatrist, every 3 months and at least 6 weeks in the presence of vascular, neurological, biomechanical or dermatological dysfunction or disease is crucial in preventing all types of complications to the feet.
If you have been diagnosed with Diabetes 2 you may qualify for Medicare’s Enhance Primary Care Program which is currently in place and allows up to 5 visits to a podiatrist for podiatry care.
